Serbia
Serbia is located in Southeast Europe, in the central and western part of the Balkan Peninsula. It shares its borders with Hungary to the north, Romania to the northeast, Bulgaria to the southeast, North Macedonia to the south, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina to the west, and Montenegro to the southwest. Serbia is a landlocked country without direct access to the sea.
Belgrade, the capital and largest city of Serbia, is not only the political and administrative center but also the economic and cultural heart of the nation.
The official language of Serbia is Serbian, written in the Cyrillic script. However, the Latin script is also commonly used. Minority languages such as Hungarian, Romanian, Slovak, Albanian, and others are spoken in various regions, reflecting Serbia’s diverse cultural heritage.
